Vesta-011 – Open the original manual at Vesta

Battery/power: 1 × CR123, 3 V lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Remove the front cover from the existing backplate. The source does not specify the clip or screw direction; confirm the opening method on your unit before applying force.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Remove the battery. Press any key a couple of times while the battery is out.
  2. Insert a new CR123 following the markings. Do not hold keys down while inserting the battery.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Refit the front cover to the backplate. Check that it is properly closed and tamper status is normal.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Try your usual user code and the agreed mode selection. Check the panel's actual status.

Attach and Mount

  1. The backplate is secured with two screws and should normally remain in place during battery replacement.
