Vesta-026 – Open the original manual at Vesta

Battery/power: 1 × CR123, 3 V lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Carefully lift the floor sensor, or lift it off its wall screw without pulling the probe cable.
  2. Locate the battery compartment. The source does not precisely describe how to release the enclosure; confirm this before using tools.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Once the compartment has been opened correctly: remove the battery and press the internal Function button twice. Insert a CR123 following the markings.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Close the enclosure correctly. Return it to the same non-conductive floor surface or hang it back on the screw.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Arrange a test of both water alarm and restoration. Check that the battery warning clears. Do not submerge the entire unit.

Attach and Mount

  1. For built-in floor probes, leave the plastic plug in the external socket. For an external probe, remove the plug and insert the probe cable. A missing plug without a probe may cause a beep every ten seconds.

Help when the product does not work

Wireless sensor: Read battery and connection state in the system. For low battery, use the model battery guide and check the battery type and whether it is replaceable. Note new metal objects or other changes near the sensor.

Choose the symptom and check the model scope before following the steps. This is troubleshooting, not a list of confirmed product defects.

Water detector: persistent leak alert or no alert

  1. First check for an actual leak. Stop the water if safe and keep away from wet electrical equipment.
  2. After addressing the leak, check whether the probe/contacts remain wet, dirty or displaced.
  3. Follow model instructions for cleaning and drying. Do not immerse the sensor. Arrange the manufacturer test and check that alarm and restoration reach the receiver.

Check the result: The system registers the test and return to dry/normal state.

Stop and get help: For repeated alerts on a dry surface or a failed test, contact support. Do not move the probe away from the leak area just to clear the alert.
