Battery/power: 1 × CR123A, 3 V lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Loosen the retaining screw with a screwdriver and remove the cover. Leave the base in place.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Remove the battery and press Learn/Test a couple of times.
  2. Insert a new CR123A following the holder markings.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Place the detector housing on the back cover and secure the screw. Check that the cover is closed.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Learn/Test activates five-minute test mode. A full glass-break test requires a suitable simulator and competent tester; clapping does not prove detection.

Attach and Mount

  1. Keep a clear line of sight between detector and window. Do not move it towards speakers, ventilation or motors. Keep the existing mount; adhesive mounting does not provide the same removal-tamper protection as screws.

Help when the product does not work

Wireless sensor: Read battery and connection state in the system. For low battery, use the model battery guide and check the battery type and whether it is replaceable. Note new metal objects or other changes near the sensor.

Choose the symptom and check the model scope before following the steps. This is troubleshooting, not a list of confirmed product defects.

General advice — model-specific fault procedure missing.

Glass-break/vibration detector: unexpected or missing alarm

Applies to: General advice for the sensor type — not a verified procedure for this model. Use the model manual for opening, battery type, testing and settings.

  1. Record the window/room, time and any knocks, building work or loud sound.
  2. Look for loose mounting or changes such as curtains, film, furniture or new glass. Acoustic and vibration-based detectors work differently.
  3. Ask the installer to perform the correct test using the model approved method. Do not break, strike or scratch glass to test it.

Check the result: An approved test confirms the detector and protected area.

Stop and get help: For a failed test or repeated false alarms, the installer must check placement and settings.
