Battery/power: 1 × CR2477, 3 V lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Open the battery tray with a small suitable tool. Leave the sensor attached to the glass when the tray is accessible.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Remove the battery. Insert a new CR2477 positive (+) side up.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Close the tray fully. Check that the sensor is still securely attached.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Press Test once for three-minute test mode. Arrange a sensitivity and detection test; do not strike or break glass to test it.

Attach and Mount

  1. Use the manufacturer's specified adhesive pad for new mounting. Attach it to the back, not over the test button. Other tape affects detection and requires a new test. Check the adhesive at least every six months.

Help when the product does not work

Wireless sensor: Read battery and connection state in the system. For low battery, use the model battery guide and check the battery type and whether it is replaceable. Note new metal objects or other changes near the sensor.

Choose the symptom and check the model scope before following the steps. This is troubleshooting, not a list of confirmed product defects.

General advice — model-specific fault procedure missing.

Glass-break/vibration detector: unexpected or missing alarm

Applies to: General advice for the sensor type — not a verified procedure for this model. Use the model manual for opening, battery type, testing and settings.

  1. Record the window/room, time and any knocks, building work or loud sound.
  2. Look for loose mounting or changes such as curtains, film, furniture or new glass. Acoustic and vibration-based detectors work differently.
  3. Ask the installer to perform the correct test using the model approved method. Do not break, strike or scratch glass to test it.

Check the result: An approved test confirms the detector and protected area.

Stop and get help: For a failed test or repeated false alarms, the installer must check placement and settings.
