VESTA-114 – open the original manual at Vesta

Battery/power: 2 × AA L91, 1,5 V lithium as reserve

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Arrange bypass of the keypad tamper and clarify the power and BUS configuration.
  2. Loosen the cover screw and carefully remove the front. Do not disconnect wires or strain the cable.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Once the supply has been handled according to the installer's instructions: remove both batteries and hold the tamper switch for more than three seconds.
  2. Insert two new AA L91 batteries following the markings. Do not mix old and new batteries.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Refit the front, secure the screw and have the system returned to normal operation.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Check keypad status and the agreed arming and disarming actions. Do not perform a factory reset.

Attach and Mount

  1. Leave the wired backplate undisturbed. Wiring must be performed by a qualified technician following the manufacturer's instructions.

Help when the product does not work

Choose the symptom and check the model scope before following the steps. This is troubleshooting, not a list of confirmed product defects.

Keypad refuses to arm or shows a fault

Applies to: VESTA-114 / KP-35 Combo

  1. Select Fault Display on the KP-35 and press OK. Use the arrows and record the full message and device name.
  2. If a door or window is open, close it and check the fault list again. For tamper or communication faults, use the guide for the named device.
  3. For an incorrect code, stop repeated attempts and confirm your code with the system owner. Five errors within ten minutes lock this keypad for five minutes.
  4. Try normal arming after resolving the cause. Do not use forced arming as a repair.

Check the result: The system confirms the requested mode without the original fault.

Stop and get help: Contact support if Operation Error or the fault remains. Provide the message, not your PIN.
