Battery / power: WEPC-1B has Ni-MH reserve package; not all variants have battery

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

The extension card is provided from the BUS/adapter. Replacement of the reserve package and dismounting requires controlled disconnection.

1. Take down or open

  1. Do not open the enclosure for this customer task.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Identify which output or function is affected by the fault.
  2. Check whether the fault concerns power, battery or communication and report this to support.
  3. Have the outputs functionally tested after service.

Attach and Mount

  1. Keep the existing mounting and cables. Removal and new installation are not described as customer tasks in this guide.
