Battery/power: 4 × AA L91 lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Carefully remove the camera from its mounting bracket. The manual does not detail how to release any lock; do not force it off.
  2. Loosen the battery-compartment retaining screw and open the lid.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Remove all four batteries. Press Test twice.
  2. Insert four new AA L91 batteries following the markings. Press Test once to send a battery-normal signal.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Secure the battery lid and refit the camera to the same bracket at the same angle.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Perform a walk test and check both signal and images. Confirm that battery and tamper faults have cleared.

Attach and Mount

  1. The bracket has two holes for a flat wall and four for a corner. Retain the existing fixings during battery replacement.

Help when the product does not work

Connection type is not confirmed: check the model and manual before assuming it uses a battery. Record the current fault and visible changes; leave electrical troubleshooting to the installer.

Choose the symptom and check the model scope before following the steps. This is troubleshooting, not a list of confirmed product defects.

General advice — model-specific fault procedure missing.

Motion detector: unexpected alarm or no response

Applies to: General advice for the sensor type — not a verified procedure for this model. Use the model manual for opening, battery type, testing and settings.

  1. Check which detector and event are named in the alarm. Record the time and whether the system was armed.
  2. Look for furniture, curtains or objects blocking its view. Note changes involving heaters, sunlight, draughts or pets in the area.
  3. Do not rely on the LED alone as a functional test. Arrange a walk test with the monitoring service using the model test procedure; some detectors have a sleep period.

Check the result: An agreed test is registered from the correct detector.

Stop and get help: For repeated alarms or missed detection, contact the installer. Do not change sensitivity or position without checking coverage.
