Battery/power: Passive camera fastener/connector box; no battery switch procedure

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

A connecting box can contain connections even if the box itself does not have a battery.

1. Take down or open

  1. Do not undo a load-bearing camera mount without supporting the camera and understanding the cable routing.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. After the work, check that the mounting is secure, the field of view is correct and the cable entries are protected.

  1. Check that the mount, screws and visible cable entries are secure and undamaged.
