- Do not recharge disposable batteries, short the terminals or bridge both terminals with a metal tool. Keep coin cells and small parts away from children. Stop if a battery leaks, heats up or is damaged.
- Take used batteries to a battery collection point. Do not reset the sensor, remove it from the app or change switches as part of ordinary battery replacement.
Finished when these checks are complete
- The cover and mount are fitted correctly. No cable is trapped. The sensor retains its previous position, orientation and coverage.
- The panel shows normal communication, battery and tamper status after the appropriate startup and test. A light on the sensor alone does not confirm that alarm reporting works.
- The agreed functions are tested, receipt is confirmed where applicable, and service/test mode has ended. Record the date, battery type and result. For an unresolved fault, contact service and explain that protection may be reduced.

1. Take down or open
