Vesta-034 – Open the original manual at Vesta

Battery/power: 1 × CR123, 3 V lithium

Before you start: check the full model name. Agreement test/service with the alarm provider before opening. Keep fastening and placement. On real smoke or fire: manage the danger first.

1. Take down or open

  1. Stop the garage door and support the sensor. The source describes the cover and base but not how to release the cover. Confirm the opening mechanism before loosening anything.

2. Bytt batteri / lad

  1. Once the correct opening procedure is confirmed: remove the battery and press the tamper switch twice. Insert a CR123 following the markings.

3. Put together and in place

  1. Close the same housing in the same position, with the indicator light facing up. Check that the tamper switch is pressed in.

4. Test and confirm normal operation

  1. Press Test for three-minute test mode. Operate the door under control and confirm open and closed states on the panel. Keep clear of moving parts.

Attach and Mount

  1. Refit to the top section of a sectional or tilt-up garage door in the same orientation. Do not use on a roller door. Mounting screws must be shorter than the thickness of the material they enter.
