Before you start: Have access to the correct system and area. Use your personal account.
Steps
- Open the phone's Settings. Choose Notifications → App notifications and find SmartHomeSec. Menu names vary between phone manufacturers.
- Allow app notifications. If categories are shown, check the categories you need.
- Check whether notifications are silent and whether Do Not Disturb is enabled.
- Arrange a test event and confirm that it reaches the phone.
You should see this: The correct notification arrives. If phone settings are correct, the owner must check the account's Notification permission.
If it does not work
- If a menu or feature is missing, check your role, area and the task's source status.
- If the expected result does not appear, note the error, device and time. Contact the installer or responsible administrator.
