Before you start: Have assigned installer access, the correct panel model and the installation plan. Agree changes and test events with the responsible person.
Do not use one generic button sequence for all sensors; enrolment is model-specific.
iPhone: design can vary with iOS and SmartHomeSec version. The steps below describe documented features.
Steps
- Open Add Device in Wizard or the device page.
- Choose the correct device type. Activate enrolment according to that device's manual.
- Check the discovered device and ID before Submit.
- Choose the correct area, zone name and response. Pay particular attention to immediate versus delayed intrusion response.
- Perform a walk test and confirm signal and status before declaring completion.
You should see this: All devices have unambiguous names, the correct zone function and confirmed communication.
If it does not work
- No device found: check the model's enrolment procedure and communication.
- Incorrect device ID or zone: stop and compare with the installation plan before saving.
