Before you start: Have assigned installer access, the correct panel model and the installation plan. Agree changes and test events with the responsible person.
This is new-panel setup. Do not restart, register or factory-reset an existing customer system simply because access is missing.
iPhone: design can vary with iOS and SmartHomeSec version. The steps below describe documented features.
Steps
- Check the panel model and installation manual. Ensure the panel has started and has a network connection.
- In the installer view, choose + / Add panel.
- Register the panel's MAC address from its physical label and give the system an unambiguous name.
- Check the registration window and any activation requirements in this exact panel's manual. The startup deadline in older documentation is not confirmed for all models.
- Confirm that the correct system appears before configuring further.
You should see this: The new panel is linked to the correct installer account.
If it does not work
- If a menu or feature is missing, check your role, area and the task's source status.
- If the expected result does not appear, note the error, device and time. Contact the installer or responsible administrator.
